The Public Investment Staff (PIS) is a unit under the National Development Office of the National Economic and Development Authority. It is mandated to provide technical support in the coordination and review of the flow of Official Development Assistance (ODA) to the country to ensure consistency with national development priorities. Putting together and implementing a rolling medium-term public investment program are the key duties of the PIS. The Medium-Term Public Investment Program contains the sources and uses of funds for priority programs and projects. The PIS also develops and recommends the criteria and system for evaluating investments of the government. Monitoring of pipeline projects for possible ODA funding is another important responsibility of the PIS. The Core Secretariat of the Investment Coordination Committee (ICC) is also housed in PIS.
