a.
Facilitate the formulation of pipeline projects and implementation of on-going projects under the UNDP Country Cooperation Framework

b.
Develop training materials and conduct periodic training courses/workshops to acquaint and familiarize project personnel and officials of relevant Government departments with all aspects of national execution

c.
Monitor the implementation of various UNDP-assisted projects and assist executing agencies and implementing agencies in the reporting requirements, including troubleshooting implementation bottlenecks

d.
Prepare guidelines on financial administrative and operational aspects of project implementation in the Philippine context to help executing agencies and implementing agencies cope with UNDP and Government policies and procedures

e.
Provide direction and advice to on-going and pipeline UNDP-assisted projects under national execution in financial reporting and auditing procedures and in project implementation aspects such as recruitment of consultants, placement of fellows, procurement of equipment, etc.

f.
Assess medium- and long-term requirements of national institutions executing UNDP-assisted projects and make recommendations on how to meet their requirements and strengthen their capacity for national execution

g.
Facilitate the conduct of financial management audit of nationally-executed projects and follow-up actions on audit findings and recommendations
