German Development Foundation (GTZ)

The German Development Foundation (GTZ) has two major projects in governance. The first is the Institutional Strengthening Project with the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) to strengthen the organization's capacity and capability to fulfill its mandate in areas of development planning, investment programming and monitoring, and evaluation. The other, the Philippine Tax Administration Project with BIR, aims to increase the skills and competence of BIR officials in order to increase the agency's effectiveness and efficiency in tax administration
