A GENDER RESPONSIVE MTPDP

National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Deputy Director General Augusto B. Santos (inset) speaks before the members of Women in Nation-Building (WIN), a nongovernmental organization primarily dedicated to encouraging and supporting the participation of women in nation building, on its 12th Annual Congress held at the Taal Vista Hotel, Tagaytay City recently. His presentation, entitled "Gender and Development in the Medium-Term Philippine Development Plan (MTPDP) 2004-2010" outlined the macroeconomic targets of the government for the next six years, as well as the Plan's gender-responsive components on education, alleviation of poverty, job creation and gender equality.
