The RMF hopes to raise half of the required PhP20.51-billion funding requirement for Region XII’s programs, activities and projects. Project proposals offered in the forum are in eight priority areas of the region, namely road network development, seaports development, establishment of integrated terminal, technical assistance to local government units, hospitals development and upgrading, environmental conservation and protection, industrial development, and tourism development. Representatives from the Japan International Cooperation Agency, AUSAID, the European Commission and the Singapore Embassy, as well as other high-level local officials attended the event.
