Socioeconomic Planning Secretary and National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) director-general Romulo L. Neri (right) exchanges handshakes with Ambassador Alistair MacDonald, Head of the European Commission (EC) Delegation to the Philippines (left) as the latter recently made a courtesy call to the NEDA chief to discuss updates on Philippines-EC relations. According to Neri, the Philippine government would like to fast track infrastructure projects as fiscal problems have been addressed, adding recent improvements necessitated the redefinition of relationships and cooperation with ODA partners such as the EC.
