As chairperson of the Build-Operate-Transfer Implementing Rules and Regulations (BOT-IRR) committee, the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) spearheaded the recent public hearing of proposed amendments to the IRR of the BOT Law at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City . The hearing was attended by representatives from the government, the donor community, the academe and the private sector. Speakers included (inset from left) Socioeconomic Planning Secretary and NEDA director-general Romulo L. Neri, and NEDA assistant director-generals Rolando G. Tungpalan and Ruben S. Reinoso.
