Neri (right) is deep in conversation with Philippine Chamber of Commerce Inc. president Donald Dee (left) on the sidelines of the 32nd Philippine Business Conference recently held at the Manila Hotel. During the conference, Neri presented his model towards global competitiveness, calling on the need for policy reforms in the airline, shipping, ports, electric, and telecommunication industries to avoid regulatory capture and lower business costs. The NEDA chief also said that to increase investments, hard infrastructure should be combined with soft, or policy, infrastructure to achieve the best results and raise productivity of the country.
