NEDA regional leaders gathered for a two-day planning session recently at the Asian Institute of Management, Makati City to present the growth strategies and key programs and projects of the 2004-2010 Regional Development Plans. Session participants included the NEDA Generals, NEDA Regional Directors and Assistant Directors, representatives from the Metro Manila Development Authority and Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao Regional Planning and Development Office, and heads of selected NEDA-Central Office staffs. The meeting identified specific growth-enhancing and wealth-creating activities considered as best practices that can be replicated across regions. Strategies that promote interregional linkages and complementation were also determined.
