The Philippine Quality Award was recently awarded to the National Economic and Development Authority-Region I (NEDA-ROI) for its excellence in public service and its readiness for global competitiveness. Presented by Vice-President Noli "Kabayan" de Castro (second from left) at the Heroes Hall in Malacañan Palace, the award was received by Deputy Director-General Augusto B. Santos (third from left), Regional Director Leonardo N. Quitos Jr. (fourth from left), and Mr. Gideon D. Nuesca, Administrative Officer IV of NEDA-RO1 (extreme right).
