National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Assistant Director General Rolando G. Tungpalan (right), shakes hands with New Zealand director of delegation Dan Clarke after discussions on the New Zealand Agency for International Development (NZAID) official development assistance (ODA) program consultations held recently at NEDA in Pasig City. Apart from expressing the mutual appreciation for support and assistance, the two parties also discussed the country development program for the next three years, as well as future plans and financial consideration. NZAID's assistance to the country targets three main themes—resource management, development of indigenous peoples and governance, augmented by cross-cutting themes of human rights, gender equity, sustainability and local capacity building. |
