The Statistical Research and Training Center (SRTC) recently signed a memorandum of agreement with the association of higher education institutions (HEIs) to accelerate capability building in statistics throughout the country. The MOA was signed by (L-R) Dr. Roberto Padua, SRTC Conssultant, NSO Administrator and SRTC Governing Board member Carmelita N. Ericta, SRTC Executive Director Gervacio G. Selda, Jr., and Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) president Fr. Frederick C. Salazar, Jr. Also signing the MOA are Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) president Dr. Eldigario D. Gonzales (not in photo) and Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities (PACU) president Dr. Vincent K. Fabella (not in photo). As provisioned in the agreement, the SRTC will conduct trainors' trainings and share its learning resources with affiliates to meet local demand for trainings on data generation and analysis, particularly by local government units.
