TOWARDS A BALANCED REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT

To reiterate and ensure implementation of the government’s development goals, members of the NEDA Board Regional Development Committee (RDCom) met recently for its first-ever organizational meeting to discuss policy reforms and issues to address disparities in regional development and promote equitable allocation of resources among regions. Held at the NEDA Board Room in Pasig City, the meeting was attended by RDCom members, such as the RDC Chairs for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao and regional development experts from the private sector and academe. As NEDA Director General, Socioeconomic Planning Secretary ROMULO L. NERI chairs the RDCom. (inset, center). Sec.
