Having identified poverty reduction as a priority development agenda, the United Nations (UN) and the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) confer on issues concerning the Philippines' performance vis-à-vis the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), prior to the launch of the millennium project report entitled Investing in Development: A Practical Plan to Achieve the Millennium Development Goals, held recently in Dusit Nikko Hotel in Makati City.
