Region X Governor Arsenio Sebastian (left, seated), representing the Region X Philippine Chamber of Commerce, and Director Casimira V. Balandra of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) Region X, representing the government, recently signed a memorandum of agreement to work together in support of the implementation and advocacy of the 2004-2010 Medium-Term Philippine Development Plan (MTPDP) and 2005-2010 Medium-Term Regional Development Plans (MTRDPs). The MTPDP/MTRDPs fleshes out the Arroyo Administration's 10-point development agenda, which aims to cut poverty incidence by half by 2010.
