The Philippine economy grew by 3.7 percent in the fourth quarter of 2011, from 3.1 percent and 3.6 percent in the second and third quarters, respectively. The full year 2011 real GDP growth of 3.7 percent is also within NEDA's growth forecast of 3.6 to 4.0 percent.
